Hong Kong Zhao’s Style Association

“Thinking of the tree when its fruit has fallen, remembering the source while drinking the water.


”Established in memory of the late bamboo flute maestro Zhao Songting (1924 – 2002), the Hong Kong Zhao’s Style Association to commemorate his life, to study his style of flute playing and to carry on his artistic spirit. Key personnel of the association are: Cheung Heung-wah as President; Chu Siu-wai as Executive Vice-President; Cheng Sing-tai, Yeung Wai-kit and Chan King-tsun as Vice-Presidents, with Chan King-tsun also as the Executive Coordinator responsible for the planning the activities of the association.


We are honoured to have exponents of the Zhao style - Jiang Guoji, Zhang Weiliang, Zhan Yongming, Dai Ya and Du Rusong from China as our honorary advisers and to guide us in our work. We believe that with the endeavours of our members and support from our friends, the Association will go forward with success!
