Hong Kong Youth Music Society

Hong Kong Youth Music Society was established in 1973 and was registered as a non-profit organisation the following year. It aims to cultivate the interest of teenagers' appreciation of Chinese Orchestral music and to serve the community. Its members range from young talented players to retirees from many professions. The members work closely with one another through stringent weekly practices, not only in musicianship but also in team spirit.

The Society has also invited many renowned artists and guest conductors for nearly five decades. Apart from annual concerts, the members of the Orchestra also participate in performances, voluntary services and exchanges in Hong Kong, Mainland China and overseas to contribute in promoting Chinese Orchestral music, share the joy of music with others, and expand their performance experience.
