Peng Xiuwen is one of the trailblazers of modern Chinese orchestral music. With an oeuvre of hundreds of works ranging from original compositions to arrangements, he has left behind an enduring legacy. To tie in with the publication of the 10-volume Collection of Works of Peng Xiuwen by the Chinese publishing group, Modern Press Co. Ltd., the HKCO has curated a concert series entitled In Tribute – The Legacy of Peng Xiuwen to share with music enthusiasts his timeless masterpieces.
