Have Fun with Chinese Music -
a Concert for the Family

Chew Hee-chiat, who holds a Master's degree in Conducting from the US, was quite a popular host with the audience in "Cook Up Some Music " (Re-run). Now he has joined up with Jim Chim, the jack-of-all-trades in theatre, to present a rerun of the music story inspired by Chinese folklore, Ma Liang and His Magic Brush. Join the hard-working, kind-hearted and generous Ma Liang on his adventures as you listen to the Orchestra, under the baton of Chew, play the colourful music composed by Phoon Yew-tien with a Chinese touch. The show also features the magic of Jim Chim, which promises to inspire, excite and pluck at your heartstrings.
On this occasion, you can also hear the lyrical effects created by a combination of erhu music and Tang poems in A Spring Morning. Enter the world of Chinese music, and enter a realm of imagination.
