The 2nd Hong Kong Synergy 24 Drum Competition

The Hong Kong Drum Festival 2003 was the first of its kind and featured a huge variety of attractive programmes and activities, such as the mass rally of 3,000 drummers that made Guinness Record, the Hong Kong Drum Music Exhibition, Know Your Drumming Index---Drums to Test Your Mood, Majestic Drums concert, and Hong Kong Synergy 24 etc.. The roaring drums inspired the people of Hong Kong who had been suffering from the severe blow of SARS to keep their chins up and listen to the rich sounds of Chinese music. The Festival was highly commended and warmly supported by the community. The first Hong Kong Synergy 24 Drum Competition saw a staggering participation of more than 60 teams. Now to keep that dynamic flow of energy that incites self-actualization going, we are going to hold the competition again this year. Participating teams can let their imagination run free when inventing the best routines. The final round will be held at the Majestic Drums IV Concert and there are many major prizes to be won. The Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra looks forward to seeing drum culture as part of the Hong Kong spirit again. Show Your Creative Energy Through Drums
