	讲座：现代音乐的生趣 Talk: Modern music with its lively appeal 主持／指挥：曾叶发 Host／Conductor : Richard Tsang 香港大会堂音乐厅 Hong Kong City Hall Concert Hall 讲座以作曲家的角度介绍现代音乐，同时加入乐团演奏作即场示范。 The talk introduces modern music from the perspective of a composer. Live demonstration of the orchestra is included.

继林乐培、陈永华、顾嘉煇、罗永晖后，以香港作曲家为题的第五场音乐会。展现集作曲家、指挥家、教育家与资深广播人于一身 ― 曾叶发的作品。2002年曾博士获选为国际现代音乐协会(ISCM)会长，是该会自1923年创会以来首位非欧裔人士会长。作为一位优秀及多产的香港作曲家，曾博士曾获多个奖项，包括十大杰出青年奖（1988）、英港艺术基金会艺术家年奖、香港作曲家年奖（1990）及香港作曲家及作词家协会金帆奖（2002）等。

This is the fifth concert featuring Hong Kong composers, after Doming Lam, Chan Wing-wah, Joseph Koo and Law Wing-fai. Richard Tsang is composer, conductor, educationist and veteran broadcaster in one. In 2002, he was elected President of the International Society for Contemporary Music (ISCM) and was the first non-European to take up the position since the founding of the Society in 1923. As an outstanding and active composer in Hong Kong, Dr Tsang has received a number of awards, including Outstanding Young Person award (1988), Anglo-Hong Kong Cultural Award, Composer of the Year Award (1990) and CASH Gold Sail Award (2002).
