This is the fifth concert featuring Hong Kong composers, after Doming Lam, Chan Wing-wah, Joseph Koo and Law Wing-fai. Richard Tsang is composer, conductor, educationist and veteran broadcaster in one. In 2002, he was elected President of the International Society for Contemporary Music (ISCM) and was the first non-European to take up the position since the founding of the Society in 1923.
