	講座：現代音樂的生趣 Talk: Modern music with its lively appeal 主持／指揮：曾葉發 Host／Conductor : Richard Tsang 香港大會堂音樂廳 Hong Kong City Hall Concert Hall 講座以作曲家的角度介紹現代音樂，同時加入樂團演奏作即場示範。 The talk introduces modern music from the perspective of a composer. Live demonstration of the orchestra is included.

繼林樂培、陳永華、顧嘉煇、羅永暉後，以香港作曲家為題的第五場音樂會。展現集作曲家、指揮家、教育家與資深廣播人於一身 ― 曾葉發的作品。2002年曾博士獲選為國際現代音樂協會(ISCM)會長，是該會自1923年創會以來首位非歐裔人士會長。作為一位優秀及多產的香港作曲家，曾博士曾獲多個獎項，包括十大傑出青年獎（1988）、英港藝術基金會藝術家年獎、香港作曲家年獎（1990）及香港作曲家及作詞家協會金帆獎（2002）等。

This is the fifth concert featuring Hong Kong composers, after Doming Lam, Chan Wing-wah, Joseph Koo and Law Wing-fai. Richard Tsang is composer, conductor, educationist and veteran broadcaster in one. In 2002, he was elected President of the International Society for Contemporary Music (ISCM) and was the first non-European to take up the position since the founding of the Society in 1923. As an outstanding and active composer in Hong Kong, Dr Tsang has received a number of awards, including Outstanding Young Person award (1988), Anglo-Hong Kong Cultural Award, Composer of the Year Award (1990) and CASH Gold Sail Award (2002).
